Acts as Guardian Ad Litem for Abandoned Baby

The Gibson Law Firm represented a child that was abandoned by a drug addicted prostitute. After seeing
the baby at 3 days old, Catherine Gibson McCauley interviewed the mother in jail and presented the
court with a report for rehabilitation and reconcillation. The mother loved the child and wanted to get
him back but she needed to prove that she could provide the basic essentials to her child. When she
did not make any effort to do so after she came home from jail and refused to communicate, Catherine
Gibson McCauley reviewed the foster home for permanancy. The child is now legally adopted and in a
loving environment.
